Welcome to the ACE-M (Advanced Card Education – Manufacturing) training course, developed by the International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA). 

This course provides a structured overview of the core materials, processes, and best practices involved in card manufacturing. The content is designed to build a strong foundational understanding of how cards are produced, from raw materials through finished products, with a focus on industry standards and manufacturing workflows.

• Card substrates, plastics, inks, and adhesives 

• Printing, collation, and lamination processes 

• Die-cutting and finishing techniques 

• Manufacturing quality standards and testing considerations 

Course format 

This is a self-paced, on-demand training consisting of multiple modules that may be completed in one or more sessions. Learners can progress through the content at their own pace. 

Certificate and exam information 

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion. 

Please note: This certificate does not constitute an ACE-M credential. 
To earn the ACE-M credential, learners must register for and successfully pass the ACE-M exam, which is offered separately and requires separate registration.
